The reason I started with Opal Core was because I saw a future within the company that falls in line with my goals for my future! One of the biggest influences is the unwavering support I’ve received and the family-oriented environment I’ve been able to thrive through and have seen within the company.
I started working at Opal Core because of how professional and supportive the environment was surrounding the team. I stayed there after seeing the many opportunities and growth potential that could be offered to me if I desired to have a bigger successful lifestyle.
I started working at Opal Core Marketing because I wanted an opportunity in which I could grow and acquire new skills that would help me professionally. I felt stuck in the 9 to 5, not really going anywhere, even though I was putting in a lot of work. I stayed because this was more than a job. It is an opportunity to not only grow but help others as well. There’s a great culture, to the point that it is everyone’s responsibility to grow together; we hold each other accountable and hold each other to a higher standard. I’m able to provide my family with stability while learning and becoming a better version of myself, personally and professionally.
Before coming into this industry, I used to be a supervisor for UPS for about eight years. This business has given me a great opportunity to develop my skills as a leader, as well as being able to learn all the necessary skills to become my own business owner. Within only a few weeks, I was learning high level communication skills, being able to get out of my comfort zone, speak to a wide range of people, as well as learning how to truly coach and develop people into upper management roles. The environment here is unlike any other. Instead of being like a white collar or a blue collar job where they just view you as a number, we really are a people-helping-people business, and I’ve never had an experience as eye-opening as this. There’s not one person in our office who doesn’t want to see the others succeed and grow. It’s almost like a second family I know that I’m gonna reach all my personal goals of financial freedom as well as being able to truly provide for my family because of how great this opportunity is to truly make, however much money I want to make as well as being able to give others the opportunity to learn the same skills that I have acquired. I’ve learned more here in the last few months than I have in the last eight years at UPS. I would never go back to any other industry. I’m glad to say that I don’t feel like I’m going into work, and that I do truly enjoy what I’m doing every day
I started with Opal Core because I saw the growth opportunity in my first and second round interviews, where I could succeed in a business that I never thought was imaginable. I saw the opportunity and I took advantage of it by learning all of our systems and the way the business is run. I decided to stay with Opal Core because I saw the community and how much of an impact it had on me; everyone here wants you to succeed past your limits and wants you to become a successful business owner by the end of the training. Our community is filled with sharp employees looking to build themselves up in a way they never had before. I was so grateful to have this opportunity to build myself up as well as teach others. I have no regrets deciding to stay with Opal Core, and I do want a future in this business because of all of the great opportunities I’ve had so far, as well as many more to come.
